Great memorial post man. For people that want to see more, I suggest looking up Giger's colour graphic work, it's some crazy zany colourful stuff that shows a different but familiar style with a much more rougher structure. Giger's airbrush work is great, but his lithos are also amazing.

Well, I don't know exactly what Neil Degrasse Tyson meant, but it reminds me of something my philosophy teacher during the philosophy seminars told me.

You're wrong. You fail to see the greater food pyramid/extinction picture. Plastic is a massive problem. Because if we keep going like we're going now, in 500 years the oceans will be devoid of megafauna. As in, there will only be things in the oceans smaller than a dog or cat.

"What if I told you that it's not a lie? That everything you believe is true? Except it's different from anything you imagined. Different from everything you imagined..."

Let me tell you, you haven't played Magic: The Gathering until you've played it at 7 in the morning after a rave with a bunch of speed freak squatters you've only met two hours earlier.

I think it's important to remember that birds (and as far as I know the theropod dinosaurs) have/had far better blood circulation, lungs, breathing and bones than mammals.

When you're an oldschool dinosaur film freak, you put up with some bullshit. But there's a limit to the amount of bullshit I can handle. And this is where I draw the line. (Yet, I still watch it from time to time.)
